Gather at 11 a.m., the group hike starts at 11:15 a.m. sharp

• PLUS There will be an optional Post-Hike lunch at Main Road Biscuit Company,
1601 Main Rd, Jamesport, NY 11947, near S. Jamesport Ave.

Join North Fork Women and Queerli for a hike through Hallock State Park Preserve. There is ample parking available. We’ll meet at 11 a.m. with a hard start of 11:15 a.m.

Hallock State Park Preserve offers a total of 225 acres. Hallock State Park Preserve is a shorefront park preserve that offers nearly one mile of pristine beachfront on the North Shore of Long Island along the Long Island Sound.

After the walk, you can purchase an optional lunch with your fellow hikers at nearby Main Road Biscuit Company, just 3 miles south on Herricks Lane, near the corner of S. Jamesport Ave in Jamesport, NY 11947.

There is no rain date for the hike, but lunch is on, rain or shine!

All allies are welcome to join.

Please note that you don’t need to sign up for the hike, but if you plan to gather at Main Road Biscuit Company for lunch after the hike, we request that you signup (above) so that we can tell the restaurant how many people to expect. Attendees are responsible for paying their own check.

How to prepare for your Nature Walk

• Wear light colored clothing
• Consider using bug repellents and walk along the center of trails.
• Conduct clothing checks and carefully inspect your body for ticks.
• Bring water, wear sunscreen and consider wearing a brimmed hat and comfortable, supportive shoes.
