Medical Alert Description + Requirements
A Medical Alert is a button that a user wears around their neck like a necklace. In the event of an emergency the user presses the button on their necklace to automatically call an Emergency Service Technician (EMT.) You are able to speak to the EMT through your necklace. The button has a GPS so that EMTs can find your exact location.
The information you give on the application will be used so that Emergency Service Technicians can contact the correct people and get to your location as fast as possible. All the answers you give are kept strictly confidential and are only used in the event of an emergency.
Medical Alert services and installation are complimentary to members of North Fork Women that live within the Townships of Southold, Riverhead and Shelter Island. Your enrollment in our Medical Alert program is kept confidential.
